Word from the Executive Director
Dear Friends, Partners, Donors, and Supporters,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Lifewater Community Kenya (LCK). Access to safe water is not merely a basic human needβit is the foundation of health, dignity, education, food security, and sustainable economic development.
At Lifewater Community Kenya, we are committed to transforming lives by working hand in hand with communities to provide sustainable solutions in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), health, livelihoods, environmental conservation, and community empowerment.
Our journey has been marked by significant milestones. In 2024, we successfully constructed ten (10) community water wells in Kabondo/Kasipul Constituency. Building on this success, we are currently rehabilitating thirty (30) previously uncompleted community water wells in Kabondo East Ward, in partnership with African Well Fund (USA).
"Together, we can build healthier communities, strengthen resilience, reduce poverty, and create opportunities for future generations."
With sincere gratitude,
Mr. Ogola Ndonga
Our Story
Lifewater Community Kenya was born out of a simple yet powerful vision of faith, compassion, and service. In 2022, Francis Ogola, his wife Joyce Raphael, and four other team members founded the organization after witnessing firsthand the daily struggles faced by vulnerable families in Kibera, Nairobi.
Having experienced poverty themselves, they responded with faith, inviting vulnerable families into their home for prayer and fellowship. What started as a small act of faith grew into a community-based organization dedicated to transforming lives through practical service and Christian compassion.
Today, LCK serves hundreds of families across Kenya, with a growing focus on Homa Bay County. Through strategic partnerships, we have successfully constructed 10 community water wells and are currently rehabilitating 30 additional wells.
We believe that every person deserves access to safe water, quality healthcare, dignified sanitation, and opportunities for economic growth. Guided by this belief, we partner with communities to design and implement high-impact programmes that address the root causes of poverty and inequality.
